Cartec Ceramic Guard coating uses a breathable formula, this means it can be applied to a freshly painted car just 24 hours after it leaves the paint booth. Allowing new paint to breath properly is vital, allowing the air and solvents in the paint to escape ensures it hardens and cures fully. Choosing Ceramic Guard means you don’t have to wait several weeks before you can get out and enjoy your car after having paint work carried out.

  • Complete decontamination wash

    The first stage of any treatment process is creating a clean and contaminate free base to work from. Our process starts by using Bilt Hamber’s Touchless snow foam. This is followed by a thorough two bucket wash. Wheels removed and all inner arches, wheel barrels, brakes and suspension are also washed. Bilt Hamber anti-corrosion wax is then applied to the suspension and hubs.

    The vehicle is then dried using soft micorfibre towels and vents/ hard to reach areas are dried using air dryer.

  • full machine polish

    The most important stage of the Ceramic coating process. Using the Cartec range of compounds the full paint correction process can begin. Working up through the grades we are able to remove swirls, scratches and blemishes in the paintwork.

    The final level of polishing enhances the shine and gives a greater depth to the paint work. Once completed the vehicle is again washed and dried to remove any dust and excess polish.

  • Coating and protecting

    After the paint correction and re washing stage the Si Carbon Ceramic Guard coating is applied. Revolutionary in its field Cartec’s Ceramic Guard offers protection against uv-rays, salt, road grime and acid rain. Along side this it strengthens and hardens the lacquer. Enhancing the paints depth and colour and ensuring the vehicle is easy to keep clean.

    Ceramic Guard comes with a 3 year warranty providing the coating is cared for using the approved methods. Top up kits can be purchased and applied by us or another accredited technician.

    Each kit is given a unique warranty code which is displayed on the warranty sticker installed by us upon completion.
